My 2023 Picks: Skincare

It’s been a slower year on my skincare experimentation journey, however I have compiled a list for you guys of some great finds!

So find below some of my favorite skincare product discoveries made this year!

YTP Peptide Serum

I am kind of Peptide obsessed…Peptides work to rebuild and repair damaged cells and signal skin to produce collagen, slowing the aging process. I will say, after consistently using this serum AM and PM for 1-2 weeks, I noticed a significant difference in my pih, skin tone even-ness, and brightness! It’s now a staple in my routine(:

Reusable Eye Patches

I will be the first to tell you, I think eye creams/products are bullish*t… However, I love how bougie eye patches make me feel lol. And buying single use patches are so very expensive, so I really only used them on special occasions! They’re just a nice self care treat! However upon the discovery of reusable, I now am able to indulge even on just those casual Saturday nights in(: I also do not use special eye creams though, because again, it’s all just marketing BS. But I will apply a little bit extra serum/moisturizer to the eye area when using these!

COSRX Snail Mucin

In my continuous search for hydration, hydration, hydration, I was on the lookout for an extremely hydrating serum, for daily AM/PM usage! I started with the COSRX Snail Mucin sheet mask and was so obsessed, I bought the essence. Will never go without ever again!!! Is also such a great deal, fair price, for a large amount. Serums generally dont come in this size so even with as often as I use, this bottle lasts me months!!!

Cooling Eye Mask

Another one for a bougie night in or get ready with me affair! These masks not only feel good, but as you know, cooling helps with puffiness, so these are a really fun but beneficial find!

First Aid Beauty Firming Cream with Peptides

I love to reach for this every PM, especially for breakouts as peptides are great for inflammation, and collagen is always a plus! High in moisture and beneficial ingredients, this is now a must have in my drawer!

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream

Again in search of hydration, I have been on the lookout for really heavy night creams. I have attempted this even in the day, but would not recommend with makeup… as the more you rub in or blend, the quicker this pills. It is definitely not a great priming moisturizer, but it’s a great thick moisturizer for a lower cost than the firming cream!

Mighty Patch Classic, Invisible, and Micropoint

Yeah I have been obsessed with these for years, but I have expanded my range throughout 2023. This year both the invisible, and the Micropoint options became must haves for my skincare drawer. Micropoint is great for those cystic ones that occur during my time of the month… and invisible is great for when I want to go out with my makeup but still want to be treating the pimple and avoid making it worse.
