  1. Classic Margarita

Ingredients: 1 oz Cointreau, 1 oz fresh lime juice, 2 oz tequila

Preparation: Rub the rim of the glass with the lime slice to make the salt stick to it. Shake the other ingredients with ice, then carefully pour into the glass (taking care not to dislodge any salt). Garnish and serve over ice.

Served: On the rocks; poured over ice

Standard garnish: Lime wedge, salted rim

2. …Make it Spicyyyy

Make your favorite margarita recipe, and add fresh chopped jalapeños. I usually add about 2-3 slices. Keep in mind, the longer you let it sit, the spicier it gets!

Alternatively, you can make a batch of spicy tequila, and let fresh jalapeños soak in your favorite tequila before creating your marg.

Served: On the rocks; poured over ice

Standard garnish: Lime wedge, salted rim using tajin and/or chili salt

3. …Make it Fruity

Choose your favorite fruit (I love a berry or grapefruit), muddle the fruit in the bottom of your empty margarita glass.

Complete with your classic marg recipe poured over top with ice.

Served: On the rocks; poured over ice

Standard garnish: Lime wedge, sugared rim, and/or chosen fruit wedge
